Terms of Service

By downloading or using Pikondo, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About Pikondo

Pikondo is a photo organization app that helps you review, keep, and delete photos from your device's library using a swipe-based interface. All processing happens entirely on your device. Pikondo does not upload, store, or transmit your photos to any server.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Pikondo for personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple device you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of Pikondo.

3. Free Tier & Limitations

Pikondo is free to download and use with the following limitations:

• A daily quota on the number of swipe actions
• A limited number of free sprints (focused review sessions) per day
• Access to a limited number of detection scans (blur, duplicate, screenshot)
• Ad-supported experience (ads served by Google AdMob)

Free users may watch rewarded ads to unlock additional swipes within a session. Quota limits reset daily.

4. Pikondo Premium

Pikondo Premium removes all limitations and ads. Premium is available as:

• Monthly subscription — billed monthly
• Annual subscription — billed once per year
• Lifetime purchase — one-time payment for permanent access

Prices are displayed in the app in your local currency and may vary by region. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not handle payment information directly.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

• Your Apple ID account will be charged upon confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period
• To cancel, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Premium access until then
• Lifetime purchases are non-recurring and do not auto-renew

6. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not control or issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.

7. Restoring Purchases

If you reinstall Pikondo or switch to a new device, you can restore your Premium access using the "Restore Purchases" option in the app. Your Apple ID must be the same one used for the original purchase.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Pikondo for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or exploit the quota or subscription system
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Interfere with the normal operation of the app or its third-party services

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Pikondo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Important: Pikondo facilitates permanent deletion of photos from your device. We strongly recommend backing up your photos (e.g., via iCloud Photos) before using the app. We are not responsible for any accidental or unintended deletion of photos.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Pikondo, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of photos, or loss of profits, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $10 if you have not paid anything).

11. Third-Party Services

Pikondo integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms:

• Google AdMob — policies.google.com/terms
• RevenueCat — revenuecat.com/terms
• Apple App Store — Apple EULA

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Pikondo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration.
